merupakan boyband asal korea yang memiliki 13 member. Pada awalnya grup ini hanya beranggotakan 12 orang dengan single pertama mereka yang berjudul, Twins. Selama debut mereka, sebelas member berasal dari Korea dan satu member berasal dari China. Hankyung, yang merupakan asal China, dipilih dari 3000 peserta audisi yang diadakan SM Entertainment di China. Banyak member super junior yang telah terkenal sebelum debut melalui acting, VJ-ing, dan modeling. Pada 23 Mei 2006 SM Entertainment mengumumkan penambahan personil baru yaitu, Cho Kyuhyun, sehingga mereka menjadi boyband beranggotakan 13 orang sampai pada saat ini. Pre-Debut Sebelum debut resmi mereka, Super Junior sudah merupakan topik panas di perbincangan internet. Berita tentang SM Entertainment yang akan membuat boyband beranggotakan 12 orang, membuat orang berspekulasi tentang nama grup tersebut. Bahkan ada spekulasi bahwa nama band tersebut adalah O.V.E.R. (Obey the Voice for Each Rhythm) Debut Super Junior melakukan penampilan pertama mereka di televisi sebagai sebuah grup pada acara SBS Inkigayo pada tanggal 6 November 2005. Single pertama mereka, TWINS dan You are the one dirilis online pada tanggal 11 November 2005. Single lainnya direncanakan dirilis November namun pada akhirnya album lengkap dirilis pada 7 November 2005. Pada Desember 2005, Super Junior berkolaborasi dengan TVXQ, mereka merilis single Show Me Your Love. Pada 23 Mei 2006, SM Entertainment mengumumkan penambahan member baru, Cho Kyuhyun. Boyband yang kini beranggotakan 13 orang tersebut merilis digital single U pada tanggal 25 Mei 2006. Lagu tersebut sukses dan menjadi no.1 di acara-acara musik. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan dirilisnya Endless Moment pada tanggal 29 Mei 2006 dan Lovely Day pada tanggal 6 Juni 2006. Pada tanggal 23 July 2006, Super Junior memulai promosi lagu mereka yang baru, Dancing Out dari Album SMTOWN summer 2006. Subgroups Super Junior K.R.Y. Super Junior – K.R.Y. adalah trio yang terdiri dari member Super Junior, yaitu, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, dan Yesung. Mereka berpartisipasi dalam OST Hyena dengan total 3 buah lagu, dan salah satunya termasuk dalam lagu utama. Trio ini adalah merupakan salah satu strategi SM Entertainment untuk tidak membatasi kegiatan Super Junior; tujuannya adalah untuk menunjukkan bahwa Super Junior bisa menyanyikan berbagai macam genre musik. Super Junior T Pada awal 2007, subgroup lainnya dibentuk. Super Junior T terdiri atas Eeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Shindong,Sungmin, dan Eunhyuk. Huruf T pada Super Junior T berarti trot. Tujuan Super Junior T adalah untuk membuka mata para anak muda Korea dengan menyanyikan lagu trot yang telah disesuaikan dengan genre anak muda saat ini dan juga untuk membuka mata publik bahwa mereka bukan hanya group pop untuk anak muda. Mereka merilis single pertama mereka, Rokkugeo, yang berarti “backwards”, di radio-radio pada tanggal 27 February 2007. Single tersebut kemudian sukses. Super Junior T melakukan penampilan pertama mereka di SBS inkigayo dengan penyanyi trot Bang Shil Yi dan menyanyikan lagu hitnya Chut Cha Super Junior-M Atau sering disebut SJ-M. Merupakan subunit ketiga di dalam industri musik Cina yang memiliki anggota dari Korea dan Cinaa dari Super Junior. Mereka merupakan grup musik internasional pertam. Mereka juga merupakan grup pertama yang diproduksi oleh organisasi Korea CT (Korea Culture Technology) dan dibentuk dengan strategi pemasaran yang komprehensif. Super Junior-M terdiri dari Hangeng, Donghae, Shiwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, dan dua anggota baru yaitu, Henry dan Zhou Mi. Super Junior H SJ-H merupakan subgrup keempat yang dibentuk oleh SM. Mereka terdiri atas Sungmin, Shindong, Yesung, Kangin, Eunhyuk, Eeteuk. Mini album mereka akan keluar di awal bulan juni ini. Dengan track andalan sebuah dance song yang berjudul "Cooking? Cooking!". Lagu tersebut berkisah tentang pemuda yang menemukan hal-hal menarik saat dia memikirkan masakan untuk kekasihnya. Acting Career Film pertama Super Junior “Pretty Boy Terror Event Series” adalah sebuah komedi yang melibatkan seorang blogger yang bernama Kibum yang menulis blog tentang semua kejadian terror yang terjadi setiap tanggal 14 setiap bulan. Ini adalah film pertama yang dirilis oleh SM Pictures. Siwon akan berperan sebagai seorang ketua OSIS, dan Kangin berperan sebagai ketua klub Judo, dan Heechul sebagai ketua klub dance.
